This 12-night trip concentrates on three of northern Chile‘s more unique and captivating regions – Easter Island, the Atacama Desert and the Wine Region.
Begin with a night in Santiago before flying out west to the famous and mystical Maoi statues on Easter Island, isolated in the Pacific Ocean, for four nights of exploration and cultural discovery.
Next, return to the mainland for some days enjoying Chile‘s famous wine region, an area that epitomises the true beauty of Chile’s northern countryside; lush green vineyards and sultry pueblos framed by the Andes Mountains. You’ll have plenty of time to relax, learn how the grapes go from vine to bottle, taste the authentic wines and regional food,
Finally, head north to extraordinary landscapes of the Atacama Desert to enjoy star gazing, mountain biking, hiking and floating in hyper saline high altitude lakes, returning to a wonderful luxury lodge after your day’s adventure.

Days 1-2: Santiago

Enjoy a night in Santiago, you'll have our list of recommended restaurants and attractions to make sure you make the most of your time here.
Days 2-6: Easter Island
Four nights on Easter Island:
Easter Island is one of the most intriguing small islands of the world, which offers fantastic scenery and mystical sites to see. Your travel designer will be able to talk you through the various activities that can be arranged for you during your stay. Some of our favourite excursions include a privately guided trip to see the ancient Moai statues, a Scuba Diving trip or a trek to explore the beautiful scenery with a naturalist guide.
Days 6-9: Wine Region
Three nights in the Chilean Wine Region:
South of Santiago lies Chile's rich central valleys and numerous vineyards. Your choice of daily activities and excursions will depend on the hotel or lodge chosen, but just speak to our Latin America travel designers about selecting the best one for you.

Days 9-13: Atacama Desert
Four nights in the Atacama Desert:
Check into your chosen lodge and spend your time exploring the Atacama with the many different excursions available. Venture out and explore this incredible wilderness on foot, 4WD vehicle, horseback and mountain bike, or soar over it in a hot air balloon. Depending on which lodge you chose, this may be in small groups or entirely private - speak to your travel designer so we can find the lodge that suits you best.
