Day 1–3 | Satpura National Park
Fly from Delhi or Mumbai to Bhopal. Upon arrival, embark on a scenic four-hour
drive to Satpura National Park, one of Central India’s most untouched
wilderness regions.
Satpura National Park forms part of India’s richest biodiversity corridor,
nourished by the Denwa and Sone Rivers. Named after the Satpura mountain
ranges that divide northern India from the southern peninsula, the region is
home to dense forests, rolling hills, rivers, and thriving wildlife habitats.
Unlike the busier parks of India, Satpura offers a quieter and more immersive
safari experience. The forests shelter leopards, sloth bears, Indian gaur, wild
dogs, and an incredible variety of birdlife. Evenings in the jungle come alive with
the sounds of nightjars and rustling forests beneath star-filled skies.
