Day 1–2: New Delhi – Arrival & Old Delhi Immersion
New Delhi – Arrival & Old Delhi Immersion
Upon your arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport, Terminal 3, you will be
warmly welcomed by a Travel Scope representative and escorted to your hotel
for check-in and relaxation after your international journey.
The following morning, after breakfast, begin your exploration of India’s vibrant
capital with an immersive experience through the bustling lanes of Old Delhi.
Travel through the historic quarter of Chandni Chowk partly by traditional cycle
rickshaw and partly on foot, allowing you to absorb the city’s fascinating
contrasts — chaotic yet spiritual, ancient yet alive with modern energy.
As you navigate the narrow bazaars and hidden alleys, witness centuries-old
architecture, colorful spice markets, local street life, and monuments
representing several faiths that coexist harmoniously in this remarkable part of
the city.
Later, visit the magnificent Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, one of the most revered
Sikh shrines in the country. Its gleaming golden dome, tranquil sarovar (holy
pond), and community kitchen reflect the Sikh principles of equality and
service. Explore the temple complex, library, school, and art gallery while
experiencing the deeply spiritual atmosphere that defines this sacred space.

Day 3: Karauli – Palaces & Countryside Cycling

This morning, you will be transferred to Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway
Station to board your train to Gangapur. Upon arrival, continue by road
to the historic town of Karauli, where a Travel Scope representative will
assist you with your hotel check-in.
After lunch, enjoy your first cycling experience through the serene rural
surroundings of Karauli. Pedal past village homes, pastoral landscapes,
and traditional local life while gradually immersing yourself in
Rajasthan’s slower pace and rustic charm.
Later in the afternoon, visit the historic City Palace of Karauli, known
for its beautifully painted interiors, delicate mirror work, and royal
heritage. As evening approaches, unwind with an intimate wine tasting
accompanied by light snacks in a regal setting.

Day 4–5: Ramathra – Sanctuary Trails & Fort Experiences

After breakfast, drive to the edge of the Kaila Devi Sanctuary, where
the first phase of your cycling expedition begins. Ride through scenic
countryside trails, passing remote villages, grazing fields, and rugged
forest landscapes. Midway, pause for a picnic lunch amidst nature
before continuing towards the sacred Kaila Devi Temple, located at
the heart of the sanctuary.
From the temple, continue cycling through picturesque rural
landscapes toward the imposing hilltop Ramathra Fort. Upon arrival
at Ramathra village, trek uphill to the fort where a traditional
Rajasthani welcome awaits.
The following morning, embark on a guided village walk through
Ramathra’s rustic countryside. Observe daily rural life, interact with
villagers, and gain insight into local traditions and customs. Return to
the fort for a leisurely lunch and time at leisure.
As the sun sets, enjoy a peaceful boat ride on the lake followed by an
enchanting folk music performance and bonfire dinner on a private
island — an unforgettable cultural experience beneath the stars.

Day 6–7: Ranthambore – Cycling Across Desert Landscapes & Tiger Safaris

Today begins with a scenic drive to the Chambal riverbed. Depending
on seasonal water levels, you may cross the river aboard rugged four-
wheel-drive jeeps for an adventurous start to the day.
Following a picnic lunch, continue your cycling journey through
remote backroads and desert trails toward Sawai Madhopur, the
gateway to Ranthambore National Park. Upon arrival, check in to your
wildlife lodge and relax amidst the natural surroundings.
The next day is dedicated to exploring the legendary wilderness of
Ranthambore. Rise early for a thrilling jeep safari through the national
park, once the private hunting grounds of Jaipur’s royalty. Apart from
the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger, the park is home to leopards, sloth
bears, hyenas, nilgai, sambar deer, crocodiles, and an extraordinary
diversity of birdlife.
After your morning safari, return to the lodge for brunch and
relaxation before venturing back into the park for an afternoon game
drive in search of more wildlife encounters.

Day 8–9: Shahpura – Rural Rajasthan & Artistic Traditions

After breakfast, drive approximately three hours to Deoli, where
today’s cycling route begins. Ride through open pasturelands,
farmlands, and traditional villages en route to Jahazpur. Pause for a
picnic lunch before continuing onward to Shahpura, your overnight
destination.
The next morning, enjoy a relaxed breakfast before setting out on foot
to explore the charming village of Shahpura. Later, cycle through the
countryside to a private farm where a leisurely picnic lunch will be
served amidst tranquil rural surroundings.
Shahpura is also renowned for its artistic heritage, particularly the
intricate Phad miniature paintings that depict mythological tales and
local folklore.

Day 10–11: Udaipur – The City of Lakes
Udaipur – The City of Lakes
Begin the day early with a cycling trail from Shahpura toward the
atmospheric ruins of Dhikola Fort. Enjoy sweeping countryside views
and a picnic breakfast amidst the historic surroundings before
continuing through lakeside villages toward Bhilwara.
From here, your bicycles will be loaded onto accompanying vehicles
as you drive onward to the romantic city of Udaipur, beautifully
nestled within the Aravalli Hills.
Known as the “City of Lakes,
” Udaipur enchants visitors with its
serene waters, grand palaces, and rich royal heritage. The city has
served as the backdrop for iconic films including Octopussy, Gandhi,
and The Jewel in the Crown.
The following day, discover the architectural splendors of the city
beginning with the majestic City Palace Udaipur, Rajasthan’s largest
palace complex featuring a fusion of Rajput and Mughal architectural
styles. Continue to the ornate Jagdish Temple, dedicated to Lord
Vishnu and celebrated for its intricate carvings and sculpted pillars.
In the evening, enjoy a memorable sunset boat ride on the tranquil
waters of Lake Pichola.

Day 12–13: Jawai – Leopards, Temples & Tribal Encounters
Jawai – Leopards, Temples & Tribal Encounters
After breakfast, drive to Iswal village where today’s cycling adventure
begins. Ride through dusty village paths, farms, and remote hamlets
toward the magnificent Kumbhalgarh Fort, an immense 15th-century
fortress famed for its massive defensive walls and dramatic hilltop
setting.
Continue onward for lunch before visiting the exquisite Ranakpur Jain
Temple, celebrated for its marble architecture and intricately carved
pillars.
Later, drive into the dramatic wilderness of Jawai — a striking
landscape of granite hills, open grasslands, and pastoral settlements
inhabited by the Rabari herdsmen and elusive leopards.
The following day, explore this fascinating region by jeep or on foot,
visiting nearby villages and interacting with the Rabari community,
one of Rajasthan’s most distinctive nomadic tribes. In the afternoon,
venture into the rocky terrain in search of leopards before returning
to camp at sunset.

Day 14: Chanod – Heritage Living & Desert Landscapes

Spend a relaxed morning before driving onward to Chanoud Garh, a
beautifully restored family-owned heritage palace that offers an
authentic glimpse into Rajasthan’s aristocratic traditions.
After settling in, explore the nearby villages on foot and gain insight
into the socio-cultural fabric of rural Rajasthan. By evening, set out
by jeep to the vast salt pans that support the desert ecosystem and
birdlife of the region.
Return to the palace after sunset for a magical dinner beneath the
open desert sky.

Day 15–16: Jodhpur – The Blue City of Rajasthan
Jodhpur – The Blue City of Rajasthan
After an early breakfast, continue your cycling journey through rural
bylanes before rejoining the highway for your onward drive to
Jodhpur.
Dominated by the mighty Mehrangarh Fort, Jodhpur is renowned for
its blue-painted houses, vibrant bazaars, and rich Rajput history.
Once a thriving trade center for silk, opium, and copper, the city
remains one of Rajasthan’s most atmospheric destinations.
The following day, explore the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort,
described by Rudyard Kipling as “the work of angels, fairies and
giants.” Wander through elaborately decorated palaces, museum
galleries, courtyards, and hidden gardens while admiring panoramic
views over the Blue City below.
You may also enjoy exploring indigenous art trails, colorful bazaars,
and nearby Bishnoi villages known for their traditional desert lifestyle
and deep respect for wildlife.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Jodhpur Airport for your
flight to Delhi. Upon arrival in the capital, a Travel Scope
representative will assist with your transfer to a hotel near the airport
where day-use rooms will be reserved for your comfort and
convenience.
Later in the day, according to your international flight schedule, you
will be transferred to the airport and assisted with check-in for your
onward journey home, bringing your unforgettable Rajasthan cycling
and cultural adventure to a close.
